Rashied Davis will be entering his fifth season with the Bears.

In his first season, 2005, he was strictly a cornerback, who played on special teams.

In 2006, he made the switch to wide receiver and he caught 22 passes, for 303 yards and two touchdowns.

In 2007, he struggled, catching only 17 passes for 165 yards and no touchdowns.

Last season, he was a starter and he caught 35 passes for 445 yards and two touchdowns.

When he made the switch to wide receiver, the Bears used him as the No. 3 slot receiver and that’s what they’ll use him as this season.

People have talked about him having the case of the drops, but having Jay Cutler should improve his skills as a receiver.

Besides, the Bears have three rookies, Iglesias, Knox, Kinder all looking for playing time.

Devin Hester and Earl Bennett look to be the No. 1 and No. 2 wide receivers.

Why will Rashied Davis be better this season?

Rashied Davis will be better this season because he will move back to being the slot receiver and he will have a Pro Bowl quarterback in Jay Cutler throwing him the ball.
