The Bears have a good core of players and these guys have helped them get to where they are at right now.  Guys like Jay Cutler, Lance Briggs, Brian Urlacher and Matt Forte have really stepped up this season and played well and are a big part of the reason why the Bears are where they are right now.

There are other guys on the team that have contributed to the Bears success this season.  They are usually the guys that you don’t hear much about or if you do, it’s for something negative.  The Bears have their standout starts, like the previously mentioned players but they have those little known guys that work hard each and every game and have an impact.

So let’s take a look at five guys, five guys that you may not know very well, that need to have a solid game on Sunday in order to help the Bears beat the Seahawks.

Corey Graham-We aren’t looking at Graham as being a factor on defense in his natural position at cornerback.  Instead, we are looking at him as a special teams performer.  Graham has been a monster on special teams this season and what his role will be (in helping the Bears win this game) is making sure that Seattle’s top special teams player, Leon Washington, doesn’t break a big one and give Seattle good field position.

He’s been spot on for the Bears this season and his ability to help get to and take down the ball carrier right away will be vital in this game.

Anthony Adams-Adams, one of the more colorful players on the roster, has had a quiet but solid season and his presence in the middle has been a big reason why the Bear’s defense has had success against the run this season.  He can also put pressure on the quarterback and plays heads up enough to make big plays by causing and/or recovering fumbles.  

The Bears will need a strong pass rush and great play from their defensive line so Adams will have an important job on Sunday and needs to play well in order for Chicago’s defense to have success.

J’Marcus Webb-The rookie offensive tackle has been under the gun a lot this season having to step in and play the right tackle position as a rookie.  He’s had his struggles, that is true but he has progressively gotten better as the season has gone on and he’s been an important part of what the Bears have been able to do on offense especially in the running game.  

If he can keep some of his more serious mistakes to a minimum and not draw any penalties, he should be able to help the Bears offensive line protect quarterback Jay Cutler and be a part of a win for the Bears.

Pisa Tinoisamoa-Tinoisamoa has been a pretty a pretty solid part of the Bears linebacking corps and has helped them excel against the run and in defending against the pass.  Tinoisamoa has really been tough in the running game and flies to the ball each and every time helping to catch the runner before he gets too far past the line of scrimmage.  He has also done well in dropping back in coverage and has the speed to stay with many tight ends.

Tinoisamoa will be responsible for ensuring that guys like Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett don’t get to the outside of the defense as well as keep pace with John Carlson and Cameron Morrah.  His role is much bigger than many people think that it is.

Rashied Davis-Davis stepped in nicely for wide receiver Earl Bennett when he was injured and did a nice job but Bennett is back and Davis may not see much playing time as a result.  Still, if there is an injury at the position he can step in and help out if needed.  He is a decent enough pass catcher and runs good routes and can be a minor threat in the passing game.  

If he’s needed and if he’s called upon then he will be ready.
