Kahlil Bell came into the NFL in 2009 as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA. Kahlil was signed by the Vikings after that draft, but was released in mid August.
The Bears saw something in Bell and decided to sign him about a month later. Bell was on the practice squad for the beginning of the season, but after RB Garrett Wolfe got injured, Bell was promoted to the active roster.
