Brandon Lloyd is “King of the Circus Catch”, I just gave him that nickname, you’re free to use it as you like. He may just be taking his act to another city as reports have surfaced that the Pro Bowl receiver is being shopped.

Lloyd could help a few teams in need of a quality, veteran receiver, especially if he is willing to tutor young receivers.

One team that immediately comes to mind is a team he has already spent time with, the Chicago Bears. The Bears would love if they could somehow get Ryan Clady in that deal, but since that probably won’t happen, Lloyd would still be a great get.

It gives Jay Cutler a veteran and proven receiver, who hasn’t checked out on his career, a la Roy Williams. It is a contract year and Lloyd has plenty to play for. His athleticism and ability to go and get balls is also a skill Cutler has long coveted. Lloyd would give the Bears something they don’t have, a legitimate threat at wideout.

The Tennessee Titans could certainly use Lloyd’s services with the season-ending injury to Kenny Britt. Though he isn’t as big as Britt, he knows how to use his body, run routes and has elite hands.

A veteran option for Matt Hasselbeck could really help the Titans achieve this year as they are getting better play from their defense than expected. The running game with Chris Johnson has been slow to start, but Lloyd helps balance the attack, which could help open more opportunities for Johnson.
