Sites Every Chicago Bears Fan Simply Must Bookmark

We’ve made our way through the NFC North and, depending on your point of view (which depends on if you are a Bears fan or not), either avoided this long enough or saved the best for last!

Or maybe you just got around to it.

Anyway, the following sites are ones I head to pretty frequently—some daily, some weekly.

They’re all places you absolutely should put on your list of websites to visit.

As always, I assume I might have missed your favorite, so add them in the comments section below!

I’m specifically looking for blog sites—I haven’t come across as many as I have for other teams. So I look to you Bears people to help me out, because I like to visit the fan/blogger sites and there are a lot of good writers who should get noticed.

For now, this is a bit shorter than I would normally like, but I haven’t come across a lot of blogs so far and didn’t just want to drop names that weren’t places I go. So please, educate me. I know they have to be out there.

ESPN Chicago

Micheal Wright and Jeff Dickerson do the majority of the work here and it is always good. I know people like to hate on ESPN and there are times I agree, but the local sites are usually repped by local guys that I think really do a great job.

Next to Kevin Seifert’s NFC North blog (who said he could take a vacation!?!?!), this is the ESPN blog I hit up most.

Sun Times

Sean Jensen does the heavy lifting here, though other scribes toss in their two cents. Jensen caught my eye on Twitter years ago (jeez, can we even say that about Twitter already?), even before I followed the NFC North. Jensen knows the game and knows the Bears—his takes are always worth reading.

Tribune

The Tribune have not one but two fantastic writers in Brad Biggs and Dan Pompei. You might also recognize Biggs by his work at the excellent National Football Post.

Both are fully dialed into both the Bears and the NFL, so you know the information and takes you read are solid.

Windy City Gridiron

This SB Nation site seems to be the most ‘writers’ team effort’ I’ve come across, though that it’s the offseason and everyone has only so much free time.

Regardless, it has a great sense of humor and fun along with a good sense of newsworthiness and history. I think the gang over there does good across the board work and always has something worth reading.

Like I said, really short. Again, pass along some sites in the comments—there have to be more out there that I have missed. I know Bears fans are passionate, they have to be going somewhere.
