The Chicago Bears dropped to 5-9 on the season after their 31-15 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
Jay Cutler threw for 194 yards on 17 completions with two touchdowns and three interceptions. Matt Forte carried the football 16 times for 78 yards, while Alshon Jeffery hauled in four catches for 78 yards and one touchdown.
Chicago’s defense gave up 443 yards of total offense to the Saints, including 375 yards through the air to quarterback Drew Brees. He finished with three touchdowns and a 137.8 quarterback rating.
The Bears will once again play at home this Sunday when they take on the Detroit Lions in Week 16.
