Chicago Bears wide receiver Sam Hurd was arrested on federal drug charges on Wednesday night after attempting to procure 500 or more grams of cocaine from a north Texas supplier. However, the criminal complaint goes even further than that.
Hurd is alleged of being the head of an extremely high-level, big money drug dealing operation, one that raked in enough cash to support a network of associates and a fleet of vehicles, not to mention the ability to afford nearly $2 million worth of drugs per month.
