Bears vs. Packers: Chicago Guaranteed to Fall to Better Green Bay Team

This game was supposed to be a death match for the playoffs. As fate has it, the Chicago Bears will be dismissed easily by a better Green Bay Packers team hellbent on getting momentum back before they claim another Super Bowl title.
One of the most frustrating things in life is suffering a stint of jealousy. Once you give into being green with envy, you are bound to live a grumpy existence forever. Just be happy with what you have, and that is all I can give as comfort to the lovable Chicago Bears that just can’t get anything to go right in 2011.
On the bright side, 2012 is just a hop and skip down the road, and you will be able to start it off with loved ones as your NFL laying days will be very much on hiatus.
The Bears are hanging by a thread mathematically. That will all go away once the Packers deliver the knockout punch to the Bears season, and it should be welcomed.
Chicago has gone from a team with promise to stout contenders to a team that just wants the nightmare to end. By the middle of the season, the Bears’ shaky defense underwent some changes and they hit the field with a great deal more versatility.
Quarterbacks were stifled, and the Bears’ own offense flourished as well. And all, as they say, was good. At some point, the Bears’ momentum came crashing to a halt and the luck went from good to grisly.
Without Matt Forte and Jay Cutler, the Bears offense stagnated. When it wasn’t stagnant, it was favoring the opposition in the way of Caleb Hanie blunders.
Josh McCown will get the nod against a Packers defense that is forgiving, but not that forgiving. Chicago should still struggle to put up points, and the Packers hardly ever have such issues.
A game that really should have been lauded as a fight to the death will hardly be worth the watch, as the Packers gear up for far better opponents to worry about.
