The Chicago Bears might be in trouble if an injury to Brandon Marshall ends up being serious.
Marshall injured his ankle during Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
UPDATE: Sunday, October 28 at 4:21 by Rob Goldberg
After being absent for most of the second half, Marshall returned to the field and was instrumental on the game-winning drive for the Bears.
The receiver had four catches for 36 yards on the final drive and helped put the team in field goal range for Robbie Gould to make the 41-yard field goal for the win.
However, fans and fantasy owners should still check back to make sure the injury does not affect him in the future.

According to Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune, the receiver is obviously being affected by the injury.
Marshall can’t move too well right now.

An injury would be devastating for the Bears as they try to continue their solid start to the season. The receiver not only leads the team in receiving, no one is even close.
Coming into the Week 8 game against the Panthers, Marshall had 41 receptions for 577 yards and four touchdowns. His yardage is more than three times that of the next closest on the team, Alshon Jeffery, who is also currently injured.
Veterans Devin Hester and Earl Bennett are the next options on the depth chart and will have to step up in order to keep Chicago effective offensively. However, if the star is out for a longer duration, the team will likely have to look outside of the organization for additional help.
Before Marshall was hurt on Sunday, he connected with Jay Cutler five times for 62 yards. Fortunately, the defense is doing a lot to keep the team competitive in the game.
Check back for the latest updates on the receiver’s status.
