Brian Urlacher Dislocates Wrist In Chicago Bears Loss

It has been reported by ESPN and the Chicago Tribune that Chicago Bears All-pro linebacker and defensive captain Brian Urlacher suffered a dislocated wrist in the Bears loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Urlacher underwent an X-Ray at halftime and determined that the wrist was indeed dislocated and no MRI was required.
The Chicago Tribune has also reported that Urlacher will undergo surgery when the team returns to Chicago tomorrow, although no sources were cited.
Although the Bears defense played well in the absence of Urlacher, he is a presence that is difficult to replace and is an integral part of the Bears run stopping capabilities.
The Packers were able to exploit Urlacher’s absence as the game went on and this could present a problem if Urlacher misses a considerable amount of time.
Along with the injury of Urlacher the Bears also lost outside linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa, cornerback Trumane McBride, and tight end Desmond Clark.
It has been reported that Tinoisamoa sustained a sprained posterior cruciate ligament and there was no timetable for his return.
There was no further news on the status’ of Clark (back injury) or McBride (knee).
If the likes of Tinoisamoa, McBride, and Urlacher on the defensive side of the ball the Bears could be in for a difficult season.
