Chicago Bears: 3 Players Worth Trading into the Top 10 for

In his first offseason, new Bears General Manager Phil Emery has made a statement on how he wants his organization run.

He has already addressed needs on the offensive side of the ball by trading for former Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall, signing a proven backup quarterback in Jason Campbell, and signing an above average backup running back in Michael Bush.

Emery has also addressed the defensive side of the football, locking up linebacker Lance Briggs with a contract extension, as well as bringing in cornerbacks Kelvin Hayden and Jonathan Wilhite.

Many figured Emery and the Bears would be players in free agency, but the biggest concern for Bears fans is how the Bears will attack the draft.  Former General Manager Jerry Angelo was notorious for having bad drafts, occasionally finding gems in the later rounds (Lance Briggs, Charles Tillman) but never had a player make much of an impact from the first round.

If Phil Emery wants to make his mark as great GM, the draft is where it starts.  This draft is very top heavy and although they would be mortgaging some of their future picks, it might be worth giving up a future first rounder to draft one of these players.

Here are three players that would be worth the Bears trading into the top 10 to draft.
