Matt Forte hasn’t had the best of seasons this year with the Chicago Bears.

Forte suffered what was thought to be a high-ankle sprain when the Bears took on the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 of the NFL season.

Fortunately that injury was downgraded and Forte was able to play against the Dallas Cowboy on Monday night.

But the fact remains, Forte has suffered his fair share of injuries and the Bears need him to be healthy to have any chance at a division title.

The Bears are ranked 16th in the league in rushing yards; Forte only has 83 rushing yards since Week 1.

It’s clear that Forte must improve on his game and become that elite running back that the Bears signed him to be.

These are the five reasons why Matt Forte needs to stay healthy for the Bears.
