Free agency is set to officially begin on Tuesday afternoon, and the Chicago Bears have enough cap space available to possibly make some big moves.
According to Over the Cap, the Bears currently have over $28 million available in cap space. In addition to the $28 million-plus it currently has available, the team will add on another $4 million in space after the Brandon Marshall trade officially goes through Thursday afternoon, via Dan Durkin of 670 The Score:
As I said in the cap piece I just posted, cap is a fluid situation. #Bears will now have $32M of free cap space when free agency starts.
