In what will be my second to last mock draft for the Bears of the pre-draft season, it’s time to take a look at players who could interest the Bears heading into the 2011 NFL draft at the end of this month. There have been several new “revelations” both with the Bears and with some of the prospects involved in the 2011 NFL draft, and things are changing in mock drafts and draft boards almost every day.
There is no doubt that the Bears need help on the offensive side of the football, particularly on the offensive line, first and foremost, but it appears as if Chicago may be leaning towards taking a defensive player with that first-round pick. The more you hear about the way other teams will draft and the more that you realize that the Bears still have a defense first philosophy, the more you realize that Chicago will probably go for defense with this pick.
So, without further delay, here is a look at my latest mock draft for the Chicago Bears as we are just two weeks away from the real 2011 NFL draft.
