Chicago Bears: Will Devin Aromashodu Be the Go-to Guy for Jay Cutler?

When I first saw Devin Aromashodu, he was the guy who sometimes the big catches for the Indianapolis Colts. He was the guy who caught passes from Jim Sorgi towards the end of the regular season.

With the Chicago Bears, Aromashodu had a bigger role. In the last month of the 2009-10 season for the Bears, Aromashodu flourished.

He had 22 catches for 282 yards and four touchdowns in the last four weeks of the NFL season. This includes a game in which he had seven catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns.

The 6’2″ 201-pound 26-year-old looks to be the go-to guy for Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears.

Right now, it seems unlikely that the Bears will land Terrell Owens. Without him, Cutler would have literally no targets at all.

At least, that’s what people think.

When you look at it on paper, these targets don’t look like they would help Cutler at all: Johnny Knox, Devin Hester, and Aromashodu.

Well let me tell you something, they are going to have a breakout year coming into the 2010-11 season.

I just see it.

They are going to prove the National Football League and all of the analysts wrong.

Aromashodu is going to be the go-to guy with his size, strength, and ability to move the chains. Johnny Knox will be the threat to use down in the red zone. As for Devin Hester, he’s the man that will go long and catch the long, downfield passes.

Jay Cutler does have targets.

For fantasy football guys, Aromashodu is going to be one of those guys you want to have as a steal in the draft. I have Aromashodu marked down.

Watch out for Aromashodu. He’s going to be helpful to the Bears’ success.
