Jay Cutler’s now infamous 5 interceptions has placed him in a unique class of Quarterbacks who’ve thrown 5 interceptions.
Among active quarterbacks in the NFL, only 12 QB’s have thrown 5 interceptions in a game within the past 10 years.
Of course there’s the Ty Detmer’s who threw 7 interceptions but he is no longer active.
I thought the trade for Cutler was bad when it happened and I just keep getting confirmation that I was right.
It must be driving Bears fans crazy that they thought they were getting a savior only to watch Kyle Orton filling that role for the Broncos. Now Jay Cutler’s tied with Jake Delhomme for the most interceptions thrown within the past few years. He’s also ranked 26th lowest among active Quarterbacks for Interception percentage, which shows the percentage of passes thrown that are intercepted.
