Theroot.com recently compiled a list of “The Blackest White Folks We Know,” which contained names such as Madonna, Bill Clinton, Robert Downey Jr., etc.

Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher also made the cut, and according to the magazine it was because “in an era when most of the notable white NFL players are quarterbacks and kickers, Urlacher stands out as one of the most well-known and successful linebackers in NFL history.

Fox News TV personality Glenn Beck was included as well, and decided to go on his show and analyze the list, with a display set up of pictures of each person included.

Beck tried to pick out the faces he recognized, and arriving at the photo of Urlacher he commented “I think this guy is a neo-nazi.”

Urlacher may look the part of a thug, but he is known to be active in the community as well as frequently volunteer for the Special Olympics.

Beck has since apologized, although I’m not sure if that will do the comment justice in the eyes of Urlacher.

Let’s just say Beck should be thankful he doesn’t live near Chicago!
