Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari Guest-Star on ‘The League’

They didn’t go full Bobbum Man, but Jay Cutler and his wife Kristin Cavallari did a better-than-expected job with their guest appearance on The League.

For weeks FXX has been airing promos for the episode titled “Chalupa vs. the Cutlet,” and reviews of the Chicago quarterback’s acting skills have been overwhelmingly positive.

As usual, no topic is left off the table on The League, even when high-profile athletes and their wives are involved. Playground equipment was sexualized and swinging was discussed, among other things.

Kevin and Jenny ran into Cutler and Cavallari at the playground, where they notice Cutler’s kid throwing his toys around.

“That kid has a cannon!” yells Kevin. “Probably gets that from his mother.”

“We’re working on his accuracy,” Cutler responds. “He loves throwing the ball.”

“Our son loves to eat rocks,” says Kevin. “I don’t know if there’s a professional outlet for that.”

“Defensive line,” Cutler quips.

All in all, viewers seemed to find Cutler a surprisingly charming television actor.
