I think I just fell in love with Elizabeth Lambert over the weekend. Any girl that can play dirty like that is welcome to hang out with The Liver ANY TIME .
Of course, it goes without saying that the following pick AGAINST THE SPREAD is for RECREATIONAL USE ONLY .
Only Rick Pitino, LeGarrette Blount, Donte’ Stallworth, Braylon Edwards, Bob Griese, Miguel Cabrera, Tila Tequila, Steve Phillips, Travis Henry, Serena Williams, Michael Jordan, Tony Romo, Elizabeth Lambert, Richard Heene (a.k.a. Balloon Boy’s father), the Liver’s biological father (a.k.a. The Most Interesting Man in the World), and all Somali Pirates would be drunk enough to question the Esteemed Liver’s pick.

Chicago at San Francisco (-3)
It still feels too early for this, but…welcome to Thursday Night Football! And you get…two teams that are fading early that need a win badly. Unfortunately ALL of the Thursday night games this season SUCK HARD .
San Francisco has lost four straight while Chicago comes in off another blowout loss, this time at the hands of Arizona. Neither one of these teams is very good right now, although Chicago was actually expected to at least be a playoff contender.
The Bears might have a shot IF they could get their dormant running game going, but that’s been nonexistent thanks to Matt Forte’s inability to duplicate what he did his rookie year and the offensive line not providing enough holes. Glad to see that money the Bears threw at Jay Cutler is paying off.
San Francisco at least plays with some heart, something the Bears have been lacking all year.
My thoughts of picking this game echo those of Sheriff Kimbel in Young Guns II when asked to go after Billy the Kid: “I’d rather drink turpentine and piss on a brushfire.” But I HAVE to pick one of these dogs, as people’s mortgages are riding on these picks, so…
