Chicago Bears fans are wondering if the 2011 season can be better than in 2010. For many, that is asking for a miracle. They were one game away from the Super Bowl, but did that suggest that the team had little room for improvement?
Winning the NFC North Division was a goal that Lovie Smith always instilled on his team, but losing to your biggest rival in the Conference championship game has so much more significance.
While the defense has looked good in camp against a woeful offensive line, the rest of the division has improved.
Having the Super Bowl champs in your division makes the obstacles even bigger to face.
With the NFC North getting better since last year, the Chicago Bears have to realize that they will have to improve on their very glooming deficiencies from last season. We will see if the Bears run to the NFC Championship game was a one year wonder or they really have the talent to make a run again in the playoffs.
The Quarterbacks for each team in the NFC North have a chance to have great seasons. The question is, who will be at the top of the mountain?
