The NFL draft is just over three weeks away, and with the draft fast approaching, what type of plans are the Chicago Bears mapping out for the big day?
The Chicago Bears had a great regular season, followed by a postseason that left fans with a sour taste in their mouth. But even so, Lovie Smith’s team did make a run to the NFC Championship game, which means that the Bears should have a pretty solid roster heading into the 2011 season.
So what areas do the Bears need to improve in? Are they looking primarily on the offensive side of the ball, or do they have any defensive needs as well?
It’s a no-brainer that Chicago needs to land an offensive lineman, someone who can help protect franchise quarterback Jay Cutler. They could also use help at the wide receiver position, but will there be any wideouts available who can make an immediate impact?
