After a first round filled with surprises and reaches, Day 2 of the 2012 NFL Draft, or “Player Selection Meeting” as the NFL likes to call it, is filled with talent that was projected to go in the first round. Players like Stephen Hill, Cordy Glenn, Jonathan Martin, Courtney Upshaw and Peter Konz were predicted by most pundits to be Day 1 selections.
With so much talent slipping, the Bears need to prepare that anyone and everyone will be in play when their pick comes up at No. 50. Also, moving up in the draft doesn’t appear to be as costly as it has been in the past, so making a trade to grab a player they want is certainly a possibility.
