NFL Power Rankings: Teams Ready for a Big Drop in Week 14

There is nothing like a good upset. Our joy will come at the dismay of a few fanbases as some powerful teams take a few steps back in the power rankings.
Don’t blame me for what is really quite clear to see. Here are some teams that just a few weeks ago were ready to make claims on the Super Bowl. Now they have to answer for what will be yet another loss and another drop in the power rankings.
None of that really matters though. What should have these teams trembling is the clock that continues to click down on their season.
Now is not the time to falter. Somebody should send that memo to the front offices of the following teams.
Dallas Cowboys: Let’s start with the upset that will hardly cause a roar with crowds. The Cowboys and Giants meet up in what should be a tightly fought game.
The Giants are once again an enigma wrapped in inconsistent efforts. You never know when they will turn it on, like a more successful Chargers squad. Well, it will be time to start questions concerning the Cowboys’ measures as they dropped their second game in as many weeks.
In an odd twist, the Giants defense is actually playing better than the Cowboys right now, and that will be the edge here.
Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh and a stagnant offense will be the call of the day when the Lions drop another game to the Minnesota Vikings.
The Lions defense is battered at the moment and the suspension of Suh hardly helps matters. The Vikings get a huge win over a team that was rolling just a few weeks prior.
Chicago Bears: This one hurts. A few weeks ago, pundits signaled that Tebow is bound to get crushed at some point. Many wondered how the Tebow-led Broncos could get over the Bears in Week 14.
Well, the answer is the Bears losing two of their best offensive weapons. With the Broncos playing great defense, Tebow only needs to put together a couple scoring drives to win this one. The legend continues.
