Matt Forte has developed into one of the top dual threat running backs in the NFL, which is why a number of teams would try to acquire him if the opportunity arrises.
Forte is in the final year of his rookie contract, and he has spoken out on the desire to receive a new deal from the Bears. The Bears have begun contract talks, but there is no indication that a deal will get done anytime soon.
Forte should not be expendable because of his all-around abilities, but the Bears have less pressure to get a deal done with Barber and the rest of the running back core producing.
In the end, Fotre maybe stuck in Chicago for the final year of his deal, or he could be sent to one of these next five cities.
