NFL Week 11 Predictions: Bears Will Cruise to Victory vs. Hapless Chargers

Well, it’s good to be a Chicago Bears fan. Well, for this week anyway.
You never can tell what offense is going to show up or what defense the Bears will settle on, the good or the bad. However, I am confident in the form the Chicago Bears will be in on Sunday.
Hell, if not, you can always count on the San Diego Chargers stinking up the joint to make things right. So that is exactly what I am going with the game this weekend. The Bears will roll and the Chargers will flounder in a lopsided affair.
Chicago Bears: The Bears did it once again. They let Mike Martz try out his offense of airing it out at every turn, and Jay Cutler almost died because of it.
After the millionth sack, they decided to once again go short and pound the ball on the ground. Just like ever freaking season, it’s worked. Someone tell me why he is employed again.
The real marvel though is the Bears defense. They are much more fluid and versatile in recent weeks and can’t be counted on to run the same formation on any given play.
That has made all the difference, as the Bears are one of the stingiest defenses going into the Chargers game. Now about those Chargers…
San Diego Chargers: This team can always be counted on to go through a malaise, only it usually happens at the start of the season. What is even more odd is that the doldrums are coming at the hands of their best player.
Philip Rivers is in an epic funk that he doesn’t seem willing or able to come out of. His decisions are questionable and his throws are worse than anything Tim Tebow could have drummed up.
The Bears defense was going to give the Chargers fits anyway. But with Rivers looking like he does, this game is going to be over by the end of the third quarter.
