Over a week has gone by in free agency, and the Chicago Bears have not shied away from the spotlight. They opened the period with two big signings and have parted ways with a franchise icon.
General manager Phil Emery did not have a ton of cap space to work with, especially after placing the franchise tag on Henry Melton. This roster still has holes, and the team has the chance to free up some more space through working out some long-term deals.
This is a breakdown of the starters after the beginning of free agency. You will notice some glaring holes that still can be fixed via the draft and inexpensive free agents.
