The Chicago Bears made some positive changes to the offensive coaching staff. The elevation of Mike Tice and hire of Jeremy Bates will really help Jay Cutler. Bates worked with Cutler in Denver, and both feel comfortable as a unit. Tice is an underrated offensive mind, who was the head coach when the Minnesota Vikings had some excellent offensive years.
The addition of Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Michael Bush give the Bears a lot more weapons. Marshall and Jeffery finally give Cutler some targets with size.
Cutler has shown progress each of the past two seasons, lowering his interception total from 26 in 2009 to seven in 2011.
